Who are we?
We are dedicated to increasing stability in our community's schools by strengthening the feeder pattern, increasing funding opportunities and providing a pipeline of community support.
Each of our five partner schools is home to brilliant Black and brown children, and the community is deeply committed to breaking barriers so they can thrive. We are a small but growing team, with a vision to expand to additional schools in the Anacostia neighborhood as we secure more resources and deepen community support.
CARE Anacostia is committed to dismantling racial injustice in public education by cultivating community power as a driver of systems change.
Our Schools:
Ketcham Elementary School | Boone Elementary School | Savoy Elementary School | Kramer Middle School | Anacostia High School
