FoKES #EYESEEME Book Campaign

Representation Matters. The more children see themselves in literature, the more it sparks self-motivation and confidence as they move forward in life. FoKES is delighted to bring forth multicultural books to increase the joy of literacy in an amazing and mighty school in Anacostia.

FoKES goal is to raise $1,000 of support which will be used to patronage a Black owned bookstore in Anacostia, Mahogany Books. This financial milestone will help to pour nearly 70 books filled with characters of color, so kids at Ketcham can see themselves in the pages of the books they choose to read.
